UN IS INVITING ALL TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION STAKEHOLDERS TO ATTEND UNCTAD REPORT LAUNCH FOR FREE ON 1st NOV, 2012.

The UN Information Center takes the pleasure to invite you to the launch of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) second Technology and Innovation Report 2012, titled Innovation, technology and South-South Collaboration.

The Technology and Innovation Report is a flagship report of UNCTAD dealing with policy issues related to science, technology and innovation for development. In this particular issue of the report, UNCTAD has analyzed the role of South-South collaboration as a means to promote technology and innovation capacity in the developing world. It has also looked at the advantages and challenges of the booming collaboration among the world’s emerging countries. The report will be launched in Tanzania on the 1^st of November, 2012 from 9:45am-11:00am at the ILO Conference room by the UN Resident Coordinator, Alberic Kacou and Professor Samwel Wangwe.
